{"id":2042,"date":"2026-02-16T20:51:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T11:51:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shiraumehave.net\/?p=2042"},"modified":"2026-03-06T00:38:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-05T15:38:05","slug":"more-information-about-lessons-at-kamigatamai-ogawaryu-danseskole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiraumehave.net\/en\/2026\/02\/16\/more-information-about-lessons-at-kamigatamai-ogawaryu-danseskole\/","title":{"rendered":"More information about lessons at Kamigatamai Ogawaryu Danseskole."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Good morning &#8211; ohayou gozaimasu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Today, I\u2019ll explain more about lessons in Copenhagen, so that you can imagine what it&#8217;s like to join traditional kamigatamai dance lessons.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~~~<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>~~~<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">&lt;School system&gt;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Traditional Japanese art schools are structured in a hierachial organization. <br>It consists of an Oiemoto-grandmaster, masters, and students of different levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">It means that we place importance on paying respect not only to our teachers but also to others, such as fellow students and related people, and to chances and opportunities.<br>We also respect good manners.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">However, here in the classes in Denmark, you don\u2019t have to be as formal.<br>We\u2019ll learn with mutual respect, and I hope we all enjoy dancing together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br><br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">&lt;Class introduction and structure>:<br><br>1. The class starting in Denmark is for beginners. And for now, the class is only for group lessons.<br>(Maximum 4 students per class) <br><br><br>There will be private lessons in the future for people who want more detailed instructions and to learn traditional customs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">2. For the beginner&#8217;s classes, there will be small theoretical lessons for basic understanding, and we will learn four dances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">3. At the end of the beginner level, once you finish learning all four dances, there will be a test to proceed to the next level.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>&lt;General information&gt;:<br><br>1. Place: Mainly at Ogawaryu dance studio, in \u00d8sterbro, K\u00f8benhavn.<br><br><br>2. Monthly fee: Adults below 30: 500 kr, adults 30 or older: 625 kr.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">&nbsp;The discrepancy is due to the new Danish VAT (moms) rules that only apply to people above 30. <br>&nbsp;If you&#8217;re over 30 years old, 500 kr + VAT 125 kr = 625 kr\/month. <br><br><br>3.
